Therapeutic Review of Drugs Used for the Primary Prevention of Osteoporosis

Welcome to BC PharmaCare's public survey of drugs used for the primary prevention of osteoporosis. This survey includes oral bisphosphonates: etidronate (generics), alendronate 10 mg and 70 mg (generics), alendronate/cholecalciferol (generics), and risedronate (generics); IV bisphosphonate: zoledronic acid (Aclasta®, generics); selective estrogen receptor modulator: raloxifene (Evista® and generics), and biologic: denosumab (Prolia®).
